You can also remove the padding easily and quickly using a zip if you want to save weight on a particularly ambitious tour. The same goes for ski and bottle attachments that you can also remove in a snap. The Radical 23 offers a spacious 23 liters of room for all the gear you need for day tours in the backcountry. Thanks to the use of durable, coated ripstop nylon, the Radical delivers the best durability and a long lifespan. Inside the pack, there are special compartments for probe and shovel to lend organization and good viewable access so if it gets serious you are ready to go without a long search. In addition, the model is equipped with the time-tested safety box, which is a compartment accessible from the exterior that is perfect for quickly stashing items like crampons.
